For an intimate wedding in grand, opulent surrounds, there is little better than Portsmouth Museum and Art Gallery. The museum’s Esther Room can accommodate 56 guests for wedding ceremonies, while the gardens outside provide a wonderful setting for post-event food and drinks.
The Esther Room itself is filled with items from the 1920s and 30s, as well as an ornate 17th century fireplace. It can be set up in a number of different styles, to ensure a wedding venue that works for your needs and requirements.
Capacity is 60 people maximum (56 guests, plus the couple and registrars).
After your ceremony, why not stay a while to celebrate with your guests, either in the Esther Room or the beautiful museum gardens – complete with play area for restless children! Our competitive packages include canapes and champagne, and traditional high tea.
